Around 80% of the volume of international trade in goods is carried by sea. The geography of international trade is expanding and the share of raw materials in transported goods is increasing proportionally. Each such product has its own characteristics of transportation, and in accordance with this it is necessary to choose the type of vessel. In addition to these issues, a number of legal and organizational problems arise when organizing sea transportation.

An extensive database of shipowners, operators and agents allow us to satisfy any request. We collect and process information about the dynamics of the freight market and, together with shipowners, evaluate factors that potentially affect rates. The Charterer receives from us a qualitative forecast about the expected rates in the directions of interest to the Charterer. Our advantage in working in this direction lies in the fact that Seaway FZCO does not circulate cargo on the market in mass mailings, but we work in a targeted manner, that is, we address directly to shipowners who have a fleet in position. Mailing lists on the market, as well as an attempt to work one cargo through several brokers leads to a stir around the cargo and, as a result, an increase in freight rates. As well as the leakage of information about the planned directions of sales of goods by the Client, which can be used by competitors. A competent approach to the work of Seaway FZCO eliminates these problems for our cargo owners.
Post Fixture Operations
- Tracking the movement of the vessel and sending reports on the location of the vessel and the planned dates of approach to the ports of loading/ unloading;
- Checking the freight invoice;
- Providing objective and independent information in case of conflict situations between the Charterer and the Shipowner;
- Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on vessel status, addressing inquiries, and offering personalized support throughout the post-fixture process.
